Take a psychedelic cast featuring Stanislav Grof, Alex Grey, Ralph Metzner and the late Terrence McKenna, combined with rapid-fire editing, rare footage of remote mystic rites, and an intelligent narrative, cram it into a movie running just over an hour -- and you've found digital dharma at its best. At once unsettling and liberating, this is a visionary masterpiece suffused with forbidden knowledge, techno-shamanism and modern science. The film offers us a challenge: "How do we re-invent ourselves in a disenchanted world from which God has long ago withdrawn?" OK, fair question. And a remarkable film.

This offbeat noir thriller is set in the world of paraphysical research at a local university in the deep South. It interweaves the staid world of academia with the dysfunctional adventures of a deranged carnival clown and his star-crossed lover. Add an old school private eye and a beautiful but lonely professor, and you've got a strange combination psychic thriller and art film. And it may scare your pants off. Interesting the story revolves around the nexus of science and religion, a topic gaining interest when the film was produced in the mid-1970s. From the Oasis TV Archives.

Join this peaceful journey through shimmering waters and beckoning coral reefs. Without one word spoken, executive producer Carol Trucz and underwater photographer Jon Geiss have produced a visionary masterpiece. The entire score was composed and performed by the late harpist and RealMusic recording artist Hilary Stagg. Glide alongside sea turtles, attend a school of barracuda moving like a single organism, and play with the clown fish among anemones. This modern classic already has been used to stimulate creativity and enhance concentration before academic projects. Perhaps most befitting, it's been called a "meditation in beauty" and we think you'll agree.
